Generally, the Lowrance models that are NMEA compatible are the HDS and Elite Series.
The Elite series varies when it comes to having NMEA-0183 support or not. Some do, some don’t. So, if you have another device on your boat that requires this, you will either need a way to convert it (such as what is provided by our Capn NMEA) or, similar. You should contact us for help figuring out if your particular Elite model has the necessary connections for NMEA-0183.
The Lowrance HDS series has always supported both NMEA 2000, and NMEA-0183.
