Description
Some earlier model Raymarine fish finders do not have dedicated NMEA 2000 ports. Instead, Raymarine provides a Seatalk NG port. So if your fish finder is designed this way, you need this Raymarine Seatalk to NMEA Adapter Cable.
One example of a Raymarine MFD, Chart, or Fish Finder that only has a Seatalk port connector is the Touch Hybrid. Although electrically similar, and offering some additional capabilities over NMEA, Seatalk is proprietary to Raymarine. However, adapting it to NMEA 2000 is simple using this cable between your NMEA 2000 backbone Tee and the Raymarine fish finder.
This cable has the female Raymarine Seatalk NG connection, and a 5 pin male NMEA 2000 connector that will connect to a spur connection on an NMEA Tee or backbone.
This cable also makes bridging NMEA 2000 and Raymarine SeaTalk NG networks possible. Generally, we advise that you contact us when undertaking this type of project, and we would be happy to assist you.
