Better Connected™ Suzuki NMEA 2000 2007 & Earlier Adapter Cable – SMIS to SDS

CAD $104.99

Some Suzuki Outboards require one additional cable as well as the NMEA Interface cable when installing a new NMEA network.  This cable changes the gender of the 4 pin male connector on the interface so it mates properly in only some engine series.

This cable needs to be ordered with the 9.9HP through 30HP Four Stroke, and also with 100, 150, 175, 250, and 300HP Four Stroke outboards when ordering the Better Connected™ Suzuki Outboard NMEA Interface Cable + Tee, or our Suzuki NMEA Complete Bundle & Lowrance/Garmin/Humminbird/Simrad Kit.

Suzuki can be somewhat challenging in cable sets for NMEA.  So if you’re confused about exactly which NMEA components you need to connect your fish finder to your outboard, just contact us with your engine model and SN, and we’ll get you set up properly.

You can relax – the pros here at Golden Channels have you covered.  And, we only use the best quality and safest cable and components in our manufacturing.  Please check out the details of our manufacturing quality in the photos.

Description

This is our Suzuki NMEA 2000 2007 & Earlier Adapter Cable – SMIS to SDS.

It is designed for Suzuki outboards built in 2007 and before.  It adapts the earlier specialized round SMIS connection in your outboard for use with the standard Suzuki NMEA Cable.

When ordering the Suzuki NMEA cable, please order the version with the V2.9 Suzuki firmware.

This cable can also be used with one of our complete Suzuki NMEA Kits.  Like our Suzuki NMEA Complete Bundle for Lowrance/Garmin/Humminbird/Simrad fish finders.

The Suzuki NMEA 2000 2007 & Earlier Adapter Cable is always needed with Suzuki Outboards prior to 2007 to install an NMEA network.

Golden Channels Better Connected™ Cables work identically to those made by your outboard or fish finder manufacturer.

However, you may notice a difference in durability, ease of installation, or longevity.  In addition, you may notice better connection life or less corrosion on mated connectors in you equipment.  For instance, we always provide blanking plugs on unused connections in our cables.  Therefor, your outboard motor, or fish finders connectors are better protected against corrosion.
