Honda

Honda added NMEA connections to their outboards in 2007.  They did this on a phased in approach by model.  It is recommended that customers with outboards made prior to 2010 contact us with a serial number and we will confirm that your outboard has the required connection.  Generally, newer models have NMEA connections in their 25 HP and larger outboards.

We offer not only standard Honda NMEA connections, but also some rare adapter cables for installations not available any where else.

Standard Honda installations display engine hours, RPM, very accurate fuel consumption, oil pressure, engine temperature, and alternator voltage.

Outboards that have trim sending units can also send trim information to a fish finder or chart plotter using our Capn NMEA (Honda version – coming soon).

This is the only parameter that you have to choose if you want your existing gauge to work, or have the data displayed on your fish finder. All the rest of your existing gauges will continue to work exactly as they do now.
