Description
Any NMEA 2000 parts lists should start with our Better Connected™ NMEA Tee and Terminators Set. Every complete NMEA 2000 network needs these three components.
Terminators are like the “End of Highway” sign on a superhighway. They stop unexpected things from happening. You should always have one terminator at both extreme ends of your NMEA network, regardless of length. They ensure that signal integrity if maintained along any backbone of up to 100 meters / 328 feet.
And, there is one Tee for the first device you are putting on your new NMEA 2000 network. This connection can be up to 16 feet from the main backbone.
Our Commitment to Quality & Why it Matters
We don’t just drop ship parts to you through an online store and hope the guy that made them wasn’t having a bad day.
We designed our own advanced NMEA cable component tester that one of our staff operates, and ensures that each NMEA component we sell is properly manufactured and meets NMEA certification. So, when you use our NMEA 2000 components, you can be certain someone who cares has carefully checked them first.
These parts are manufactured in China. Their final testing and certification verification is performed by one of our staff in Canada.
